Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) | Ajit Chaphalkar

Ajit is in charge of the entire operations of the company and is the driving force of the company’s strategic direction and business growth. Prior to BioAnanlytical Technologies™, Ajit has had extensive experience in setting up several offices/ subsidiary companies and an engineering product manufacturing company. His experience also includes working in various capacities in Design and Engineering at well-known MNC manufacturing, refrigeration and food processing plants. He has handled several financial activities such as Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), private placements with foreign investors, and raising funds and loans from bankers and government institutions. His experience in handling several mission critical projects, technology transfers, joint ventures, strategic alliances and partnerships has significantly contributed to the superior offerings that B.A.T. provides to both international and domestic clients. close X

Chief Technical Officer (CTO) | Vijay Ghate

Vijay Ghate, CTO, brings over 36 years experience of working on diverse platforms and environments. He has worked with leading multinational companies in India, Europe and Africa. His primary responsibility is to keep B.A.T. abreast of the latest technologies on the development as well as the application front. His other responsibilities include the successful completion of product development assignments, project planning, technical interfacing with customers, and quality management. He has to his credit, several successfully managed product development assignments involving complex technologies comprising hardware, software, firmware, and embedded systems. Vice President - Business Development | Mandar Joshi

Mandar Joshi, Vice President - Business Development, is an Entrepreneurial Sales, Marketing and Business professional with over 21 years of experience in Internet, Information Technology and Power Electronics Industry. Through his varied experience, he contributed qualitatively in the areas of program management including product launch, business management, sales and distribution management, relationship management, Value added services and technical support. He worked in various capacities with leading industry houses in India and has been an integral part of many successful business initiatives including export oriented Software Services Company. Vice President – Information Technology Systems (ITS) and Infrastructure | Mehul Patel

Mehul Patel, Vice President – ITS and Infrastructure, is responsible for the deployment of information technology, providing the blueprint for enterprise-wide IT strategy and standards, and for the architecture of corporate network infrastructure. He brings over 28 years of rich professional experience in network design, implementation, deployment of network services and IT enabled business process solutions. His varied experience spans professional services, network management, training, and technical support to business development efforts. He has been an integral part of a successful leadership initiative of consulting business and was instrumental in steering it through multi-fold growth by delivering IT solutions to corporations across the Asia-Pacific. close X

Vice President - Customer Relations | Nirvan Vithani

Nirvan Vithani, Vice President - Customer Relations, is responsible for the infrastructure and operations of the company, account management, implementing the Global Delivery Model; providing domain support for projects and managing techno-HR functions. He brings over 29 years of valuable experience to B.A.T. His vast experience in LIMS, Analytical Instrumentation, IT and customer relationships management has added tremendous value to B.A.T.’s offerings. He has had hands-on experience in the implementation of LIMS, and instrumentation projects in the Middle East, Europe and India. Vice President – Programs and Delivery | Pradeep Satbhai

Pradeep Satbhai, Vice President – Programs and Delivery, brings over 31 years of rich experience in software, information technology and the formulation of corporate strategy. He is responsible for managing various projects and programs at B.A.T., the timely delivery and quality of projects, and enhancing productivity by employing the right tools and techniques. Pradeep brings with him experience of handling large international software projects in retail Banking, Airline Revenue Accounting, Fare Auditing, Financial Accounting and Educational domains. Pradeep’s areas of strength are in software quality and information security, project management techniques, software processes, metrics and measurements, and organizational management processes. This rich practical experience has enabled him to guide several software organizations to define and implement quality and Information security management systems based on ISO standards. Pradeep has also set up a BPO office, managed infrastructure, and formulated best practices in HR and other areas. close X

Vice President - Quality and Human Resource Development | Seemantinee Kanade

Seemantinee Kanade, Vice President - Quality and Human Resource Development, is in-charge of Human Resource Management; handles administrative matters of the company and also acts as the management representative for ISO implementation. Vice President – Embedded Technology Group | Nikhil Joshi

Nikhil Joshi, Vice President – Embedded Technology Group, holds over 25 years of vast experience in the embedded solutions domain. His technical capabilities include Project Management and System Engineering of multiple projects concurrently, Managing/ participating in requirements definitions with the customer, finalizing the design architecture for embedded solutions, block-level design of hardware / firmware, Participating in trouble-shooting at component or code level if required, Managing/ participating in testing and customer approvals and managing post sales support. At B.A.T. he is responsible for ensuring flawless delivery of embedded projects. Nikhil with his tremendous consultancy and management skills in embedded solutions has been responsible for turning some start-ups into full-fledged embedded design houses. He has worked with customers from various geographies including USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Germany, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Australia and India. His embedded consultancy services have been appreciated by some of the major electronic giants in India. close X

Associate Vice President – Biotechnology Group | Mahesh Kulkarni

Mahesh Kulkarni, Associate Vice President – Biotechnology Group, has 15 years of rich experience in analytical product and technology development of new chemical entities and drug products life cycle programs. He heads the Biotechnology and related domain groups of B.A.T. He is responsible for monitoring various domain specific projects, overseeing customer liaisons and interactions– both pre and post sales, carrying out research in the areas of emerging technologies. Mahesh acts as a technical expert for the clients and the B.A.T. team. Mahesh has hands-on experience in Analytical Technologies including Analytical Testing with state-of-the-art Instrumentation, Development and Validation of Analytical Methods for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceutical dosage forms, Validation of Analytical Methods, and Supervising activity in R & D to support various industries like Pharma, Herbal, food analysis, Chemicals and Bioequivalence studies. Mahesh has worked in pharmaceutical companies in North America as a Scientist and Manager in Analytical Technologies and its applications in the field of R & D. He has carried out research using literature surveys to provide knowledge-based support in the areas of Analytical Development. Mahesh possesses a thorough knowledge of GLP principles and in regulatory affairs; He is well versed with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) submissions for USA and Europe. close X

Associate Vice President - Business Development | Anand Maiskar

Anand Maiskar, Associate Vice President - Business Development, brings over 16 years of experience to B.A.T. He is responsible for Business Development in the domestic and overseas markets and for client relationship management. He has extensive hands-on-working experience with clients in Europe and North America. Anand has worked with companies providing IT enabled product and software solutions including embedded software solutions. He has also had experience in planning and IT implementation for MRP, CAD/ CAM/ CAE software products and services in the domestic engineering and manufacturing sector.
